Bukela's Tremendous Guests
It's a peaceful evening at Bukela, just after sunset and the African light is fading fast. Just outside the main lodge we hear a rustle in the bushes. Bukela seems to be hosting one extra for dinner this evening, although he may be too large to fit around the table.
There's something incredibly mystical about the African Elephant. Being so close to one is always a thrill, even if the light is gone and all you can hear is him munching away at the thick bushes surrounding the lodge.
Bukela Game Lodge also has a viewing deck to relax on and enjoy a glass of wine, or read a book and enjoy the birdlife. The deck is strategically situated just above a watering hole, often frequented by these majestic elephants, along with an array of other animals, including bush pigs and occasionally a thirsty cheetah.
